Range of biochips

The diagnosis process with the help of a biochip is based on the principle of direct fluorescent immunocytochemistry with subsequent morphological analysis.
A standard biochip has compartments covered with a protective film. These compartments contain fluorescent-labelled proteins.
Range of biochips: |
ЕРН – for determining the immunophenotype of breast cancer cells; |
SER – for determining the nature of the serous fluid; |
Tyr – for differential diagnosis of thyroid neoplasms; |
Pulmo – for diagnosing lung cancer; |
PNV – for diagnosing malignant tumours in the genitourinary tract; |
BigTarget – to search for markers for drug treatment; |
NOD1 и NOD2 – a wide panel; |
A biochip is a plate whose dimensions are 25 mm х 75 mm and which is 1 mm thick. The surface of a bioship is divided into two sections: one section contains a transparent plate made of glass which has a positively charged coating layer and forms the working surface of the biochip; the other surface has no specific coating, is intended for holding the biochip by hands and contains the information on cell localization. Test compartments contain protein ligands conjugated with a fluorescent label, for example, Su3. The working surface of the biochip is covered with an airtight and sterile film.
Biochips are stored in a lightproof container before their use. The time of their exposure to light may not exceed 20 minutes before the reaction. It is required to protect the product from direct sunlight when it has been taken out of the container.
Biochips make it clinically possible: |
To make histogenetic diagnosis of tumours |
To define the nosological variant of a growth |
To detect the primary tumour by metastasis with an unknown primary site |
To make a prognosis of tumour development |
To recognise a malignant transformation of cells |
To find grounds for prescribing targeted therapy |
To analyse both the resistance or sensitivity
of tumour cells to chemotherapeutic and target compounds |
ЕРН BIOCHIP
Designed for differential diagnosis of breast cancer and target search for drug treatment.
The test system has 3 lines of 5 markers:
List of markers |
Estrogen receptor (ER) |
Progesterone receptors (РGR) |
Her2-neu (EGFR 2) |

Ki67 |
The development helps optimise the tumour antigenic status analysis process in case of breast cancer while reducing the time and cost of the study and preserving the same information contents.
